Tina Ravi has been associated with WRA India since its inception in 1999.  She worked as Senior Program Associate with CEDPA (now known as Centre for Catalyzing Change), the WRAI National Secretariat, and supported WRAI activities before taking a sabbatical in 2007.   She is proud to have been part of major WRAI milestones such as the March to the Taj, Declaration of the National Safe Motherhood Day and the movement to promote Respectful Maternity Care in India.

Since 2016, as a Project Manager, Tina leads WRAI’s Respectful Maternity Care Program, which was successful in centring and positioning RMC as a vital component of Quality of Care and the center of government of India’s maternal health policies and programs.

Being a mother of two herself, she continues to be an advocate for safe motherhood and firmly believes in the rights of women for a quality, equitable and dignified health care service.
