Nisha Singh joined White Ribbon Alliance in 2016 as Grants Administrator and transitioned to her current role as Advocacy Officer to build on her passion for the WRA programming and on her experience working with National Alliances via grant and subgrants management and implementation. As an Advocacy Officer, Nisha supports the WRA Power and Rights program portfolio, advancing the agency, health and human rights of women, girls and newborns and contributing to WRA’s broader advocacy campaigns.

Nisha came to WRA from a mixed background in US-based community organizing and project management for international nonprofits. She graduated from Macalester College with a BA in Political Science and Mathematics and is currently a Master’s in Public Policy (Evening Program) candidate at Georgetown University.

Outside of work, Nisha teaches dance, is an avid book-clubber, enjoys exploring all of DC’s caffeination options and aspires to Great British Bake-Off glory.
