George is a nurse/midwife with an honors degree in psychology. He has wide experience working with communities in the areas of primary health care, maternal and child health and HIV/AIDS. He has strong advocacy and social mobilization skills at the community level, acquired and demonstrated over seven years of practice at public hospitals, with local authorities and as part of several non-governmental organizations.

George has been with WRA Zimbabwe since December 2016, campaigning for childbearing women’s rights in respectful maternity care and empowering women with knowledge and skills through its community-based self-care initiative focusing on birth preparedness and complication prevention readiness.
