Amanda came to White Ribbon Alliance in 2013 first as an intern, then as Operations Coordinator, and is now the Advocacy & Programs Associate. She works with her Global Secretariat and National Alliance colleagues to advocate for Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Child and Adolescent Health through managing grants, creating accountability tools, and linking national-level campaigns to global events. She continues to be inspired by citizens who advocate for involvement in national and global-level accountability processes, access to respectful maternity care, and health education on self-care.
Prior to joining White Ribbon Alliance, she worked with Save the Children and the UN Development Programme’s Washington, DC Liaison Office. She has an MA in International Human Rights from the Josef Korbel School of International Studies, University of Denver and a BA in International Studies and BS in Anthropology from Loyola University Chicago.
In her free time, Amanda enjoys playing flag football, going to comedy shows and spending time with her cat, Jude Claw.
