Citizen-led Accountability
Fostering true accountability to women, girls, families and communities is central to everything that White Ribbon Alliance does. Ensuring that women’s lived experiences were elevated to those in power drove our earliest actions, including our founding. From a robust advocacy agenda based on what 1.2 million women and girls told us they wanted for their own healthcare through to the Women and Girls Health and Rights Power Model, we have created a number of tools and resources to ensure that women’s and girls’ self-articulated needs forms health policies, programs and practices. We hope you find them useful.
