From February 4-7th, 2012, a delegation from WRA India (WRAI) visited Indonesia to learn about the Desa Siaga, or “Alert Village” model. Dr. Abdulah Cholil presented on the history of Desa Siaga, and then the delegation—accompanied by representatives of the WRA’s Global Secretariat, as well as members of APPI (WRA Indonesia)—visited Mekarjaya Village in Arjasari Sub-district in Bandung, which is about four hours from Jakarta.

9. Learning Visit to Indonesia | WRA India Learns About the Desa Siaga Model

10. The Power of a Smile: CARE India's Integrated Family Health Initiative
