1500: White Ribbon Alliance in Sweden

Around 1500 women die every day through childbirth due to lack of medical knowledge, facilities, or midwives. These deaths are easily preventable. The White Ribbon Alliance wants to reduce this number. Find out how you can help at www.wrasweden.org and www.whiteribbonalliance.org 

This film was shot in Stockholm, Sweden, on Mother's Day, 30th May 2010. It took 5 hours and 30 minutes to remove the symbols, one at a time.
