As a member you should agree to actively uphold by the Mission, Vision and Principles of the White Ribbon Alliance, as stated here.
The White Ribbon Alliance is a membership led organisation and consists almost entirely of volunteers in 152 countries. The active participation of our members as advocates of maternal and newborn health is crucial to continuing the global fight to end needless maternal deaths.
By taking action you can join members around the world in showing your support for mothers and newborns everywhere. Members are kept up to date on the latest news and campaigns and how to get involved though many members also organize their own fundraising and awareness events.

Crowds are engaged during Jua Kali’s performance as part of WRA-Kenya Safe Motherhood Nairobi-Kisumu Convoy, which inspired youth involvement and reached 15,000 people in 3 provinces over 9 days. |

WRA-Sweden celebrates Mother's Day in Sergels Square with a display of 1000 female symbols, representing how many women and girls die every day in pregnancy and childbirth. On this day WRA-Sweden launched the "It's Urgent" postcard campaign appealing to Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt to do more through development aid. |
Midwives from 80 countries came together to sign the ‘Midwives Save Lives’ petition, which was delivered to heads of state. Here, UK Minister for International Development Stephen O’Brien received the petition from the WRA, Save the Children and the ICM - calling for more midwives and better support for widwives support across the world. |

Sally held a relaxed dinner party in her kitchen in St. Leonard’s on Sea with nine female friends, all dressed in white to celebrate International Women’s Day. The evening helped raise awareness about safe motherhood and funds for the WRA. |
