WRA Members

The White Ribbon Alliance for Safe Motherhood (WRA) is an international coalition of individuals and organizations formed to increase public awareness of the need to make pregnancy and childbirth safe for all women and newborns worldwide. Individual and organizational members constitute the backbone of the organization. Together, they take action in their own countries to make the issue of maternal and newborn health a priority for their governments and other international organizations.

Organizational Membership: comprised of organizations anywhere in the world that are willing to take action to make pregnancy and childbirth safe for women and newborns in developing, as well as developed countries. Member organizations play a significant role in building the capacity of the secretariat, and furthering the movement from awareness to action at the community, district, and country levels.

Individual Membership: comprised of individuals around the world who strive to take action in their own communities and countries to make safe pregnancy and childbirth a priority for their government. Read this Membership Q&A section to learn more.
